According to the authorized statement, "A mysterious confrontation leads heroes Naoe and Yasuke into a original mission, where hints of forbidden ceremonies and terrifying metamorphoses reverberate through the obscurity." The storyline presents a "strangely dressed woman named Ada" who tasks the pair with journeying into the Gemstone Grotto—a key location from Attack on Titan—to save her ally from a clandestine group.

The mission centers on "peculiar experiments and a terrifying enemy" and is available to all players who have acquired the Yasuke character.

Familiar Places and Transformations

The trailer highlights the Hidden Temple from Attack on Titan redesigned as the Crystal Cave. This important location was previously where the Reiss royal family transmitted the Founding Titan ability through eras. The teaser finishes with a dramatic scene showing a character, likely the prisoner, changing into a Titan that rises over Naoe and Yasuke.

Players who successfully complete the quest will receive an exclusive katana together with several objects hidden throughout the area in hidden chests. The update also features purchasable Attack on Titan item packs, including:
