"That's a bit unusual but then, I enjoy sprinting and just move forward - I'm not staying back that much," he added.

"I tell my centre-back 'I'm not hanging back' and that I'm just going to keep attacking.

"That running is what I'm looking for. It's enjoyable."

Along with Cisse's six scores on his first game, Ireland has scored eight in three appearances for Wythenshawe, while George Boyd scored five on his debut appearance and Lescott, a defender by trade, scored a triple in one match up front.

Wythenshawe are top of the Premier Tier with 3 victories from three and a GD of plus nineteen.

Paul Barrow, thirty-eight, who features on the wing for Collegiate OB, faced former Latics full-back Figueroa on the weekend - and had to explain his nine-year-old son who Heskey was.

"I felt I was a bit awestruck playing against him to be honest.

"We competed well for a good twenty mins but then we had a man dismissed and it was tough.

"We really have not stopped chatting about it - I was calling my mum and brother on the way home.

"They were all friendly, shaking our hands after the match - it was like facing a group of normal guys.

"Now we are eager for the return match."
